The hire car business has become a race to find the best possible price through comparison sites. We needed to remind our audience that a hire car is more than a way to get from A to B and that Hertz offers a superior service to its customers.
The first day of a trip is a ‘travelling day’ - and a waste of precious holiday time. But it doesn’t need to be this way. So why stop for a motorway coffee and sandwich when you could find something much more exciting? We developed a Route-Planner (a mash-up of Google Maps, Directions and Places) that Hertz customers could filter and find the perfect stop-off (amazing restaurants, hidden beaches, amazing water parks etc.) on their next trip. We created a press, digital and social campaign to inspire travellers across Europe to start imagining the possibilities when you hire a Hertz.
